The truck still needs a clear approach and overhead room. Choose a flat, firm spot, move parked cars, and share gates, slopes, soft ground, roof eaves, branches, wires, or tight turns before delivery.

The $675 starting rate includes delivery, pickup, 2 tons, and 1 day for an approved general-debris load. General-debris weight above the included amount is $165 per ton.

A separate 3% processing fee applies to all card payments. Approved appliances are $75 each. Extra time requires approval and is subject to availability; the published extra-day fee is $95. The written quote controls the job terms.

Keep out concrete, dirt, asphalt, brick, block, stone, pavers, and tile. Those dense materials need a reviewed lowboy plan. Also keep out paint, solvents, chemicals, fuel, and motor oil. Do not load batteries, pressurized tanks, tires, asbestos, medical waste, or other hazardous material.

Pick a flat, firm drop spot and keep the delivery path clear. The container is 6 feet high, so plan how workers will place debris without climbing on the sides or throwing material into an unsafe area.

Put flat and bulky items in first, spread dense debris across the floor, and keep everything at or below the top rail. Do not move the dumpster. If the load changes from the quoted material, stop and call.

Choose the 15-yard for a smaller, lighter, contained project with 1 ton included. Choose the 20-yard when roofing, cabinets, counters, drywall, more rooms, or a larger cleanout needs added volume and 2 tons included.

Move to the 30-yard when the project needs much more bulky volume or a longer included rental window. The 30-yard is 18 feet long, so check placement and truck access before moving up.

If the bin will sit in a City of San Diego street or public right-of-way, review the current permit steps before delivery. Other cities and county areas may use different rules.

A City of San Diego building or demo permit may also trigger debris rules. You may need to use approved sites and keep weight slips and closeout records. The dumpster quote does not replace the project permit or recycling plan.
