Information you provide

We may receive contact details, service addresses, project descriptions, photos, requested delivery dates, placement notes, quote selections, and other information you choose to provide when requesting service or contacting us. When a visitor arrives through an advertising or campaign link, a quote request may also include limited online attribution identifiers, such as a Google click identifier and UTM campaign parameters, so Haul’n Off can understand which campaign produced the request. Website quote requests are stored in Haul’n Off’s protected lead-management system so authorized staff can review and follow up.

How information is used

• Respond to questions and prepare or manage a service request.
• Coordinate delivery, pickup, routing, placement, and customer support.
• Maintain business records, improve the website, and protect against misuse.
• Send a transactional acknowledgement and any available non-binding starting estimate in response to a quote request.
• Alert authorized staff by business email and SMS that a new lead is ready for follow-up.
• Send other service-related communications and any optional communications you requested.

Optional Microsoft Clarity session replay

If you allow optional session replay, we use Microsoft Clarity on public website pages to understand site usage through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity may process browser, device, page, click, scroll, and interaction information using cookies and similar technologies so we can improve navigation, page performance, quote-form usability, and our services. We do not grant advertising-storage consent through this website integration.

The complete quote form, including contact fields, service choices, scheduling details, hidden attribution, status, and confirmation content, is explicitly masked from Clarity, and page query parameters are removed before Clarity starts. When supported ad-click identifiers remain in the URL for Google attribution, Clarity is deferred until a clean page visit, even if you have allowed session replay. The private staff CRM and credential-bearing quote approval pages do not load Clarity. You can choose No session replay or reopen Privacy choices in the footer to withdraw this choice separately from Google measurement cookies. Withdrawing removes Clarity cookies set for this site, reloads the page if needed to stop the active replay session, and prevents Clarity from loading on later page views unless you allow it again. Global Privacy Control also prevents Clarity from loading.

Microsoft currently retains standard playback data for up to 30 days. Click and heatmap data, and sessions that are labeled or favorited, may be retained for up to 9 months. Microsoft deletes this data after the applicable retention period under its current Clarity retention policy.

Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement

Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads measurement run on public pages without waiting for the optional Microsoft Clarity choice. These tools help us measure visits, connect supported ad-click identifiers to results, and let Google Ads optimize bidding for completed quote requests. Google may set or read measurement cookies and process limited browser, device, page, internet protocol address, online identifier, referrer, and advertising click information.

When our server confirms that it saved a new quote request, the site sends one quote_success event. That event contains only the event name, not your quote reference, submission identifier, name, phone number, email address, street address, service details, form answers, or raw campaign parameters. Unrelated query values, UTM values, and page fragments are removed before Google measurement starts. Only bounded, syntactically validated gclid, gbraid, or wbraid identifiers may remain in the page URL while Google measurement cookies are allowed, so delayed Google tags can read them. Rejecting Google measurement cookies removes these identifiers from the page URL; the limited first-party attribution included with a quote request is separate.

Google analytics storage, advertising storage, and advertising user-data consent are enabled by default on public pages. Reject all or No Google measurement cookies in Privacy choices denies those permissions. A browser Global Privacy Control signal also denies all four Google consent states and cannot be overridden by an Allow button. Ad personalization remains disabled by this site. Google tags still load under denied consent and may send cookieless measurement, including a verified quote_success event, with advertising data redaction enabled and URL passthrough disabled. Denial does not mean no Google requests. Staff pages and credential-bearing quote approval pages do not load Google measurement.

Privacy choices in the footer offers separate controls for Microsoft Clarity session replay and Google measurement cookies. Reject all rejects both; allowing Google measurement cookies does not allow session replay. We remember your Google cookie choice for later visits when browser storage is available. Rejecting removes accessible first-party _ga, _ga_* and _gcl_* cookies for this site, not unrelated cookies or cookies on provider domains. Earlier Clarity-only choices remain Clarity-only; an earlier combined Google-and-Clarity rejection is honored where that combined choice remains distinguishable. You can also limit cookies with browser or network controls. Google retention and processing are governed by the property retention settings and Google’s privacy policy.

Sharing and retention

Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, managed database storage, transactional email, optional staff SMS alerts, payment, routing, recordkeeping, or legal compliance. Current quote-workflow providers include Vercel infrastructure, a managed PostgreSQL database provider, and Resend for transactional email. Twilio is used only when optional internal staff SMS alerts are enabled. We do not authorize those providers to use customer information for unrelated marketing purposes.

Unconverted quote-request information is generally scheduled for deletion 12 months after receipt. Records connected to accepted service may be retained for up to seven years when reasonably required for business, accounting, dispute, or legal obligations. Security and delivery logs are retained only as reasonably needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.

Security and staff access

Quote contact details, delivery addresses, and free-text project notes are encrypted before database storage. Structured request fields such as material, dumpster size, and preferred date are stored separately so authorized staff can manage the request. Access to the lead-management system is limited to approved staff through time-limited sign-in links and server-side authorization. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
