A 40-yard container holds up to 40 cubic yards by volume. It is built for a large amount of bulky general debris. Common jobs include a major property cleanout, business cleanup, build, or demo with approved material.

The 40-yard measures 18 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 7.5 feet high. It uses the same ground footprint as Haul'n Off's 30-yard but has one foot more wall height.

Choose a firm, level surface with a clear approach for the delivery truck. Point out narrow gates, tight turns, slopes, and soft ground. Also note low branches, wires, roofs, parked cars, and active work areas. Do not move the dumpster after placement. Public-space placement may require approval or a permit from the local authority before delivery.

The $975 starting rate covers the approved general-debris load. It includes delivery, pickup, 3 tons, and 7 days. General-debris weight above the included amount is $165 per ton.

A separate 3% processing fee applies to all card payments. Approved appliances cost $75 each. Extra rental days are $95 each when approved. Your written quote confirms the job terms. It covers the address, material, drop spot, timing, and availability.

Use the rear door only when the bin and drop spot allow it. Close and secure the door before pickup. Spread debris through the bin and keep everything at or below the top rail. Nothing may stick out from the sides or hang over the door.

Keep concrete, dirt, asphalt, brick, stone, pavers, and tile out. Reviewed clean heavy material uses the 10-yard lowboy. Hazardous waste is not allowed. Keep out paint, liquids, and chemicals. Batteries, propane, tires, and electronics are also not allowed. The same rule applies to medical waste and asbestos. Ask before loading an appliance or any uncertain item.

Haul'n Off's 30- and 40-yard dumpsters are both 18 feet long and 8 feet wide. The 30-yard is 6.5 feet high; the 40-yard is 7.5 feet high. Both starting rates include 3 tons and 7 days.

Choose the 30-yard when it has enough volume or when a lower wall makes loading easier. Choose the 40-yard for more bulky general debris, subject to site access and current availability. A bigger bin does not make a dense load safe. Ask about the 10-yard lowboy instead.
